Please be advised that all critical personnel of Syrtis involved in day-to-day operations can operate all functions remotely. Applicable employees can access the datacenters from any location with the proper credentials. We anticipate no impact on daily processing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us and has forced everyone to rethink how we live and work. Our thoughts are with everyone who’s been impacted by the virus, especially those who are sick or caring for a sick family member or friend.
At Syrtis Solutions (Syrtis), we are focused on protecting the health and welfare of our team and keeping our systems fully operational. As a nationwide health information provider, it is critical that Syrtis maintains high levels of reliability and confidence. We take our role in providing data through our ProTPL program to payers of last resort extremely seriously. As such, we continue to monitor the outbreak of COVID-19 and any potential risk it may have on the delivery of services to our customers.
Currently, we believe customers (current and onboarding) will not experience service issues as our systems will not be affected.
Business Continuity Plan
Syrtis’ corporate headquarters are in Austin, Texas. Additionally, Syrtis has multiple off-site locations throughout the United States. A critical part of our Business Continuity Plan is the two off-site data centers that house Syrtis’ dedicated servers. In addition to the off-site data centers, Syrtis employees utilize a secure platform to access all applications necessary for day-to-day operations.
Syrtis utilizes a fully documented business continuity plan that prepares our operations for service outages caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., COVID-19, natural disasters, man-made events), and guides the restoration of services to the widest extent possible in a minimum time frame. Additionally, Syrtis is monitoring COVID-19 developments from the CDC and other federal and state agencies. As such, our business continuity plan is being evaluated and updated as necessary. We have recently adjusted our internal policies related to employee travel and telework, and we are continually assessing the safety and need regarding in-person participation as it relates to Syrtis, Syrtis customers, and health industry events. Syrtis remains committed to its workforce and is actively providing its employees with information and resources shared by the CDC and the Federal government.
Travel & Meetings
Supporting our customers and the health and safety of our employees are our top priorities. As such, and until the current situation warrants a change, Syrtis has suspended all business travel and will continue to leverage teleconferencing capabilities to facilitate any and all business meetings.
